E-Rotic "Sexual Madness" Album Review

E-rotic rules!
This album is really worth buying if you're an E-rotic fan.Although it's not as perverse as most of the other E-rotic albums,it includes a lot of great songs. For example "Shenandoah", with panpipe-music in the background, makes it a beautiful song with indian-style...but of course, there's also some fast party-tracks.It's worth buying!

Peplab "Drive" Album Review

Happy & funky, but spotty, but... one standout tune
Far and away, the best song on this album is "Beautiful People." If you liked Fatboy Slim's "Beautiful Night" or Outkast's "Hey Ya", you'll love "Beautiful People". There's a few other songs that are close to as good, and the rest are so-so.

This is the sort of the album you play on the beach right after you play UB40, and right before you play Fatboy Slim or Daft Punk. You'll crank it up on "Beautiful People", I guarantee.

Gloria Gaynor "I Never Knew" Album Review

Gloria Gaynor makes a comeback
"I Never Knew" hit the top of the Billboard Dance/Club charts in 2002, and at least briefly brought the Queen Of Disco back to her throne.

Gloria's comeback began in 2001 when "Just Keep Thinking About You" was released. In all honesty, I was unimpressed with that track. But then "I Never Knew" came out, and in my opinion is more of a real club anthem that brought her back to true form.

The first track on this single is truly the standout: the HQ2 Mix (Hex Hector/Mac Quayle). This mix is a peak-hour, high-energy house club anthem all the way, with just enough of a retro feel to remind you that, yes indeed, this is Gloria Gaynor you are listening to. The production is impeccable, her vocals sound fantastic, and the lyrics are uplifting and spiritual. HQ2 has put out some great mixes and this one is guaranteed to pack a dance floor.

The Cruz & Bagz mix is good as well. It's not as over the top as the HQ2 Mix, but that allows Gloria's vocals to be even more prominent. A nice alternative.
